It all started in 1988, the year our founder Jonathan Ray Bradley turned 4 years old and convinced his parents to let him get his very first chicken. You may be thinking, "his parents probably got chickens when he was 4..." but no, this world of poultry was sought out and pursued by this young boy himself. Over the next several years Jonathan would keep a close watch for ads in the newspaper and bargain trader for birds that were on his "wish list". When something was available, he would talk a family member into driving him to make the purchase. Chickens, pheasants, quail; he began learning and raising a whole slew of different categories/breeds. And so his "Poultry Collection" began.
